New Webinar Series - A Valuation of RAILGUN
Crypto valuation is still driven by narratives and multiples.
What if you valued a protocol like a real business with revenue, cash flows, and distributions?
Join our live Messari session as we present a full intrinsic valuation of RAILGUN using observable onchain fee generation and explicit staker mechanics. We will walk from TAM and adoption to cash flow, terminal value, and per token intrinsic value across bear, base, and bull scenarios.
You will leave with a clear intrinsic value range per RAIL and a reusable valuation framework you can apply to other protocols.
Built for institutional investors, research, strategy, and risk teams.

Messari's protocol reports give you a deep dive on the foundation and state of top crypto protocols, including key metrics and notable events. See the complete list of protocol reports here and get a preview of our latest report below.

Decibel is building on Aptos to become the world's most powerful and trusted decentralized exchange, driving innovation in trading and markets. Mainnet Beta is imminent, and Testnet is live, with an average of 132K daily active accounts during its recent trading competition.
On Feb. 12, the Decibel Foundation announced usDCBL, which will be Decibel's default collateral. When traders deposit USDC into Decibel, they sign an onchain transaction that converts their funds into usDCBL. In doing so, the protocol will earn value on the stablecoin’s assets held in reserve, such as U.S. T-Bills, that it would not otherwise earn without a revenue-sharing agreement with Circle.
USDC pre-deposits to Decibel opened on Feb. 10 and run through Feb. 24, with participants eligible to earn Season 0 Decibel points (AMPs), USDC-denominated rewards, priority access to Mainnet Beta, and early allocation to Decibel Liquidity Provider (DLP) vault.
The DLP is Decibel’s professionally-managed primary market maker and backstop liquidator, accepting deposits from LPs who earn a share of liquidation fees and market-making profits.
Decibel is built on Aptos, the fastest major L1 by block time, with fully onchain execution, composability, and transparency. Key differentiators include Aptos’s low, predictable fees and parallel transaction execution via its Block-STM engine, which delivers sub-second finality.

The CLARITY Act is stalled in the Senate amid unresolved debates over stablecoin rewards restrictions, the balance of SEC vs. CFTC authority, and how DeFi platforms should be regulated.
Senate consideration is split between the Banking and Agriculture Committees, each advancing separate discussion drafts that must be reconciled into unified language before any potential floor vote.
The SEC and CFTC have historically regulated the crypto industry primarily through enforcement actions. CLARITY aims to replace this approach with clearer rules on asset classification and agency jurisdiction.
As of February 11, 2026, Polymarket currently places the odds of passage in 2026 at around 56%. These odds have fluctuated between a high of 72% on January 12 and a low of 39% on January 22.

The Pentad alliance established a ₳70.0 million Critical Integrations fund to secure institutional infrastructure. This formal coordination between five core entities focuses on onboarding tier-one stablecoins, oracles, and custodians to expand the network’s institutional footprint.
The Cardano Card launched via Wirex, enabling ADA payments at 100 million merchants in 190 countries. The integration enables consumer payments on the Cardano blockchain, increasing the network's utility. Beyond ADA, the platform supports BTC, ETH, SOL, and various stablecoins.
Average daily NFT trading volume surged 133.4% QoQ, while average daily DEX volume grew 17.3% to $4.4 million. Minswap remains the dominant DEX, capturing 72.4% of the network's volume.
On Nov. 21, 2025, a malformed transaction exploited a 2022 deserialization bug, resulting in a network partition. This caused newer nodes to accept invalid data while older nodes correctly rejected the malformed hash. Within 14.5 hours, the network converged back to a single canonical chain.
A snap election restored the Constitutional Committee following the Cardano Atlantic Council’s resignation. The vote maintained the onchain ratification threshold, demonstrating the resilience of its governance mechanics under pressure.
